Sharon Ray

A love for the outdoors and a desire to know what causes weather led Sharon to a career in meteorology which began when she got her meteorology degree from Northern Illinois University. Sharon holds the American Meteorology Society Seal of Approval for television weather-casting which she received early in her career.

During her career she worked at TV stations in Illinois, Florida, California, Texas, and Missouri, spending 16 years in mid-Missouri forecasting the changeable weather, tracking anything from severe storms to snow and ice.

She and her husband are happy to be back in this beautiful area, close to their growing family and friends.
