Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith joined KRCG 13 in July 2023 after graduating from Missouri State University with a BS degree in Journalism and a minor in Mass Media.

While at Missouri State University, Ryan interned with NPR affiliate, KSMU Ozarks Public Radio as a news reporter for two semesters during his Senior year where he strengthened his skills as a reporter. Ryan additionally anchored, produced, and reported for Missouri State’s campus broadcast, Ozarks News Brief.

Ryan grew up in Missouri where he became passionate about the interest and sense of community in our state. Ryan enjoys the outdoors and likes golfing, fishing, and bicycling. Ryan also watches St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Mizzou football and basketball, as well as spending time with family and friends.
