Ciara Tate joined KRCG 13 in May of 2022. She moved from Denver, CO where she attended Journalism School at Metropolitan State University.

Ciara's passion for storytelling was ignited in high school when she began to anchor the school's morning program. While in college Ciara worked as a reporter, producer, and technical director for a student-run news show. She started her career as the the editor-in-chief of "The Star," a college magazine. In addition, she interned at "Birdy," magazine as a contributor.

She has lived in numerous places throughout the country which has helped develop Ciara's charismatic and outgoing personality.

Ciara is keen on community engagement and sharing the perspectives of others in her community.

When she is not working Ciara enjoys reading, volunteering, and hiking.
