Bryan Hudnell joined KRCG 13 in June of 2022 after graduating from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. There, he majored in broadcast & digital journalism, while minoring in sports management.

At SU, he worked at NPR affiliate WAER on the station’s sports staff and covered Syracuse Football, Basketball, and Lacrosse.

In the summer of 2021, he interned at his hometown TV station, WLWT, and covered the Bengals, Reds, FC Cincinnati, and other local teams and schools in the area.

He got his start in journalism at his high school paper, The Chronicle, and his high school’s sports broadcasting club, Mason Sports Radio.

Outside of KRCG, Bryan is a big sports fan as he remembers going to his first Bengals and Reds game when he was just four years old.

In his free time, Bryan enjoys monitoring his fantasy teams, being outdoors, working out, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Bryan is excited to start his career here in mid-Missouri and can’t wait to embrace the area.
