Several members of the Helias football team took part in a Community Cleanup day Friday.

"This is very near and dear to my heart," head coach Tim Rulo said. "This is what we all want to be about. We want to be about being bigger than football, bigger than ourselves."

Helias players went to more than one dozen locations around Jefferson City for their second annual Crusader Community Cleanup Day. Some picked up garbage at city parks, others did some landscaping for neighbor lawns and some even moved tables into classrooms.
