Pierce, Burnside are transferring from Mizzou softball

The Missouri softball team continues to experience change.

Rylee Pierce and Braxton Burnside announced their plans to transfer from Missouri.

According to a tweet, Pierce will continue her career at Arizona.

Pierce hit 8 homeruns, and drove in 23 runs, while sporting a .318 batting average--during the 2018 season.

Burnside tweeted her decision, announcing she'll play at Arkansas.

Burnside smacked 3 homeruns, and drove in 28 runs this season.

Former head coach Ehren Earleywine recruited Pierce and Burnside to Missouri. Athletic Director Jim Sterk fired Earleywine before the 2018 season. Each player thanked Earleywine in their announcements.
