Girls learn film direction at Citizen Jane camp
A group of young girls experienced a sort of Hollywood on the Stephens College campus Thursday.
Junior high students learned how to be directors at this year’s Citizen Jane Film Camp. Some of the amateur short films from this year’s camp have a chance to appear in the Citizen Jane Film Festival this October.
Campers learned how to write, shoot and edit their own films.
“I really enjoy it because I don’t get to do a lot of film making or anything like that," Catherine George said. "It’s really cool to get to learn how to use all of the equipment and doing acting as well. I really enjoyed that.”
Campers planned to showcase their short films on the Stephens College campus at the end of this year’s week long film camp.
