Wanted man believed armed and dangerous after assaulting, stabbing two Moberly victims

Police have asked the public for help in locating a 31-year-old man wanted in connection to a domestic assault.

A woman reported an ex-boyfriend had broken into her residence in the Allendale area and cut her throat just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The 37-year-old victim had wounds to her neck consistent with coming from a knife, police said.

Shortly after, a 27-year-old Moberly man checked into the Moberly Regional Medical Center with a stab wound to his abdomen. The female victim returned home following treatment, but the condition of the man was not made available.

Police said formal charges of first-degree domestic assault and first-degree assault have been filed against Monquail Leray Williams. He is believed to be armed and dangerous and has made threats to law enforcement.
