United Way of Central Missouri reaches $2 million campaign goal
JEFFERSON CITY —
United Way of Central Missouri broke its $2 million campaign goal.
At its Victory Celebration Thursday morning, the organization announced a projected pledge total of $2,187,520 from the mid-Missouri community.
“It’s important to note that the campaign results announced at the Victory Celebration are a projection, as actual results for the 2018 Community Campaign will not be finalized until early next year. This event is our opportunity to recognize the efforts of our wonderful volunteers and thank our caring, compassionate community for their incredible support,” President/CPO of United Way of Central Missouri Ann Bax said in a release.
Funds raised will support the work of the 28 United Way of Central Missouri partner agencies. United Way of Central Missouri helps people live their best possible lives in its seven-county Mid-Missouri service area of Cole, Miller, Moniteau, Osage, southern Callaway, Morgan and Camden counties.
