TUNAS — Deputies continued their search Monday for suspects in connection with a double fatal shooting.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Office stated two homeowners were found dead outside their Tunas, Missouri, home after a shooting Sunday morning. A release stated the homeowners had interrupted an attempted robbery/home invasion. Following an altercation with the suspects, the homeowners were shot and killed.

The sheriff's office was searching for a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with dark gray or black flares. The single-cab truck bore the license plate tag 9YX 415.

The suspects were considered to be armed and dangerous.
