Two dead, one seriously injured in crash involving train and truck in Randolph County

Two people are dead after a crash involving a train and a pick-up truck in Randolph County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirms a man and a nine-year-old are dead.

A twelve-year-old was taken to a Columbia hospital and is in critical condition.

The patrol released the name of the driver. They say he is Kevin Campbell, 53, of Higbee. There is no word on Campbell's relation to the two children.

The crash happened at 9:55 Tuesday morning on County Road 2795.

A crash team from the Missouri State Highway Patrol is on the way to the scene.
