Snapchat threat ends in arrest of South Callaway student

The Callaway County Sheriff's Department arrested a male subject after he allegedly sent a SnapChat message threatening in nature. (MGN Online)

The Callaway County Sheriff's Department was made aware of a SnapChat Message threatening students at South Callaway High School Wednesday night.

According to Sheriff Clay Chism, the message portrayed a pistol, with the caption, "Y'all better be ready for what goin down when I get back to school."

With the assistance of the Fulton Police Department, deputies arrested Gage, Quick, 17 at a home in Fulton just after 11 p.m.

Quick was booked and processed fon suspicion of felony making a terrorist threat in the second degree.

Quick was released after posting an undisclosed bail.
