Silver Alert issued for endangered missing Stover woman

A Silver Alert was issued for a missing woman out of Morgan County. (KRCG 13)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a silver advisory alert Thursday morning after an elderly woman with health problems was reported missing.

Victoria Smith, 73, was described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black and gray hair, and having hazel eyes. The alert stated Smith was last seen wearing a blue blouse and blue shorts with "USA" on the side. Smith was said to suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia.

Smith, of Stover, was originally supposed to be going to Kansas City but was last seen in Valley Park, Missouri. A subject gave her directions on how to get from Interstate 44 to U.S. Highway 50 and she was supposed to go back to her residence in Stover, Missouri. She had not arrived as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

She was driving a silver 2012 Chevrolet Cruze with the Missouri license number of DE8Y4P and was last seen headed eastbound on I-44 from Valley Park.

Anyone with information on Smith has been asked to immediately dial 911 and contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Morgan County Sheriff's Office at 573-378-5481.
