Santa's sleigh lands at KRCG 13

Santa Claus not only delivers gifts to children, he also works to make sure everyone can experience the joy of opening presents on Christmas morning (Elizabeth Hoffman KRCG)

It might be his busiest time of the year, but Santa Claus found time to stop by the KRCG 13 studio Friday morning.

Santa said thanks to the lighted tower, he and his reindeer had no troubles finding the television station.

He won't only deliver presents throughout December, he also has a jam-packed schedule of Mid-Missouri events.

Children can bring letters to Santa on Saturday, December 8th from 10am-2pm at Busch's Florist in Jefferson City.

In his own words, Santa said,

"Santa Claus is anyone who loves another

and seeks to make them happy; who gives

themself by thought or word or deed in every gift

that they bestows; who shares there joys with those

who are sad; whose hand is never closed against

the needy; whose arm is ever outstretched to aid

the week; whose sympathy is quick and genuine

in time of trouble; who recognizes a comrade

and brother in every person they meet upon life's

common road; who lives their life throughout

the entire year in the Christmas spirit."
