
COLUMBIA — Columbia police said Monday they were looking for information about two cars involved in a shots fired incident on Columbia's north side Monday afternoon.
According to police, officers were called to Loop Liquor and Convenience Store on the Business Loop shortly after 3:00 Monday for a report of people in two vehicles arguing before leaving the scene. At about the same time, officers were called to the vicinity of War Admiral Drive and Triple Crown Drive, where witnesses reported that the occupants of a vehicle were shooting at another vehicle.
Officers found numerous shell casings in the area. No injuries were reported as the result of the gunfire. Police ask anyone with information to call the police department or Crimestoppers.
