COLUMBIA — Officers with the Columbia Police Department were investigating Tuesday night after reports of shots fired near Bodie Drive and Edenton Boulevard.
According to a news release, the call came in around 7:50 p.m. regarding shots heard in the area. Officers responded and found evidence of shots fired at the scene.
Shortly after responding to that call, police responded to the Break Time convenience store located at 1000 Smiley Lane for a report of an individual with a gunshot wound.
CPD was investigating to determine if the incidents were related.
