Police ask for information in connection with Columbia bank robbery suspect

Police are asking the public for help in connection with a Thursday morning bank robbery.

Officers responded to 1916 Paris Road in reference to a robbery of Central Bank of Boone County at 11:55 a.m.

An investigation revealed a male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. The suspect then was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money before running off. There were no reported injuries or property damage.
