One victim released from hospital, another in stable condition from Copper Beech shooting

The Columbia Police Department said one victim has been released from the hospital following a late-September shooting.

CPD also stated the second victim involved in the shooting incident at the Copper Beech Townhomes was in stable condition.

The two victims, both said to be males, were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Sept. 29 after shots were fired between two vehicles.

Police said there was no updated information on arrests or suspects. At the time of the shooting, MU Alert said a possible suspect vehicle was a gray Nissan four-door SUV.
