One injured in Wednesday evening Columbia shooting, search for suspect ongoing

Police were looking for a suspect in connection with a Columbia shooting that left one person injured.

A release stated officers responded to the 1700 block of Hanover Boulevard at 9:11 p.m. and found a female victim had been struck by a bullet in her arm. Police also found a vehicle had been struck by gunfire.

The victim's injuries were non-life-threatening.

The suspect was described as having left in a black or dark-colored two-door vehicle with shiny wheel rims.
