Columbia police officers were dispatched at approximately 12:15 a.m. to a shots fired disturbance at 1201 Grindstone Parkway. Prior to officers' arrival, Boone County Joint Communications provided police with a description of the suspect vehicle and informed them that it had left the area.

Moments later, officers in the area found a car matching the vehicle description. They conducted a traffic stop at Providence and Rollins, according to a Columbia Police Department release.
