Murder suspects in Bland homicide arrested in Florida

The two suspects accused of murder in connection with a homicide in Bland, Missouri have been arrested several states away.

Brooke Buddemeyer, 29, and Aaron "Foozball" Lewis, 36, were found in Florida and, following a vehicle chase, were arrested in Madison County, Florida. The Gasconade County Sheriff's Office stated local charges were expected to be filed Thursday.

The two suspects were both accused of second-degree murder in the death of Jesse Robbins. Buddemeyer was also accused of armed criminal action, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies had responded to the report of a medical emergency in the 100 block of Pleasant Avenue in Bland the morning of Nov. 25. Law enforcement discovered 53-year-old Jesse Robbins, of Bland, suffering from a suspected gunshot wound. He died a short time later.

The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office said numerous other agencies have helped the sheriff's office in the ongoing investigation of Buddemeyer and Lewis.

A Facebook post stated more details would be released at a later date.
