Sixty-two pounds of marijuana are off the street thanks to a Highway Patrol trooper and a K-9 unit.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the trooper stopped a vehicle at 12:06 a.m. Monday for a lane violation on I-70 at the 105 mile marker in Cooper County.

During a search of the vehicle, K-9 Rony alerted the trooper to drugs in the vehicle; troopers found 62 pounds of marijuana.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F ended its tweet Monday morning with "#GoodPupper".

The Highway Patrol's arrest report showed Derek Eaton, 40, from Gainsville, Florida, was taken into custody Monday morning for the incident.
