The downtown Columbia post office drive-thru is down to one collection box after postal officials said someone knocked over several post office collection boxes around 4 a.m.

The driver of the one vehicle accident has not been identified.

Post office officials said all of the damaged collection boxes are safe and accounted, for and workers will monitor the one remaining box every hour to make sure it doesn't overflow.

Officials said their collection service will return to normal within the next two weeks.
