TUNAS (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the two southwest Missouri homeowners who were shot to death in an apparent gunfight with possible intruders.

The Springfield News-Leader reported Brandy and Joseph Allen were killed Sunday morning outside of their home in the Dallas County town of Tunas. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said the homeowner apparently interrupted an attempted robbery.

Authorities said the victims' pickup truck was missing when authorities arrived. Anyone with information about the vehicle is urged to call law enforcement. The truck is a 2006 silver Chevrolet Silverado single cab with dark gray or black fender flares. Its license plate is 9YX 415.
