Firefighter injured responding to condo fire, Osage Beach Parkway reopened

One firefighter was injured responding to a condo fire on Chateau Lane. The Osage Beach Fire Protection District Chief Jeff Dorhauer was taken to an area hospital and was treated for dehydration. He was treated released a short time later.

The Osage Beach Fire Protection District said nine condominium units were a total loss in a structure fire Wednesday morning on Chateau Lane.

The fire marshal on scene said the firefighter was taken to the hospital after suffering from heat exhaustion.

The multi-unit condominium suffered significant damage. Osage Beach Parkway had to be closed in both directions; it was reopened around 1 p.m.
