Cole County fire fighters responded Sunday evening to a semi truck on fire in Jefferson City.

Crews were dispatched to Rainbow Hills Road and Westhaven Drive just before 6 p.m.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in around a half hour.

No nearby houses were damaged, and no one was injured.
