Centralia mayor Tim Grenke said a significant portion of the city was without power Thursday morning, but that has since been restored.

Grenke said trees had come down, and several power lines were arcing.

He said at 6 a.m. crews were headed out to assess the situation. The city police department lines were running on a backup generator, and the city hall lines were down.
