Wednesday Night Forecast (03/08/17)
Skies will stay clear overnight and the winds should die down as well. Look for overnight lows in the lower 40s.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Thursday brings the chance for showers and storms, particularly for those farther south/closer to the lake. Temperatures are trending cooler as we head into the weekend. A cold front will move through by Friday morning, and cooling continues into the weekend. An upper level pulse of energy tracks overhead Saturday, which will pull even more cold air our way with high temperatures that day in the 30s. Snow will be likely with this clipper type system as well, starting during the overnight hours Friday ending by the later afternoon Saturday. Some accumulations will be possible, especially for those north of 70. As of now, totals around 1-3 inches seems to be a good preliminary forecast. Look for updated information regarding snow totals and timeline in the coming days.
