Wednesday Morning Forecast (05/03/17)
- FLASH FLOOD WARNING in effect for Benton, Camden, Pulaski, and Phelps Counties until 11:45 a.m.
- FLASH FLOOD WATCH continues today and tomorrow for the entire mid-Missouri area.
Rain will move through the area all day today. Rainfall totals look to be on the order of 2.5-4" for those south of I-70. Isolated locations along and just south of Highway 50 could see up to about 4.5". Flash flooding will be a concern for many, so be safe near low water crossings and never drive into water on roadways. Temperatures today hover in the lower 50s.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Rain will continue through Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon, a few counties in eastern mid-Missouri could see lingering light rain. Fortunately, sunshine and dry weather takes over by Friday and continues through early next week. Temperatures this weekend will be very nice - topping off in the low to mid 70s.
