Tuesday Morning Forecast (05/02/17)
Flood waters continue to impact many roadways across mid-Missouri as some rivers are expected to crest later today. Rivers of particular concern are the Gasconade and Missouri (at Hermann), both are forecast to crest after lunch today at Major Flood Stage. Skies will stay mostly clear throughout this morning and afternoon. High temperatures will top off in the upper 60s later this afternoon.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Rain returns early Wednesday morning and continues through Thursday morning. A flash flood watch will be in effect during this time due to saturated soil from last weekend. Those south of I-70 look to pick up an additional 2-3 inches, which could lead to river levels rising yet again. Fortunately, sunshine and dry weather takes over by Thursday afternoon and continues through early next week.
