Friday Noon Forecast (05/19/17)
Storms look to move in this afternoon starting west near Highway 65 around 3-5 p.m. and progressing farther east throughout the evening. Some storms could be strong/severe, with wind and hail the primary concerns. One or two tornadoes are also possible, but the chance is very low. Severe weather chances are more substantial for those south of I-70.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Into the overnight hours and for at least the first part of Saturday. Total rainfall for the area will be between 1-3 inches. A few spotty showers will still be possible on Sunday morning, but for the most part we'll be dry for the second half of the weekend and to start next week. Temperatures will be slightly cooler over the weekend back into the 70s.
