Friday Morning Forecast (03/10/17)

KRCGThumbnail

Expect a cold start to your Friday with temperatures in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s! Fortunately we'll see plenty of sun this morning and afternoon, with highs in the lower 40s. More cloud cover arrives this evening ahead of tomorrow's snow.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures will continue cooling off significantly as we head into the weekend. A quick moving storm tracks overhead throughout the day Saturday. Snow will be likely with this clipper type system as well, starting early Saturday morning, ending by the evening hours. Some accumulations will be possible, especially for those north of 70. As of now, slushy totals look to be around 1-3 inches. Areas near Lake of the Ozarks can expect to see some sleet as well during the morning hours, eventually transitioning to snow in the afternoon. Another batch of rain/snow is starting to look more likely on Monday as well.
