The afternoon looks pretty good! Highs will be right around normal in the mid-upper 80s with mostly sunny-partly cloudy skies. A few storms may be possible near I-44. We're partly cloudy tonight with lows in near 70.

EXTENDED FORECAST: A stationary front will keep rain in the picture for the next several days. Storms may be possible on Wednesday, mainly south of Jefferson City. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Our best chance for showers and thunderstorms comes on Thursday as a cold front slides into the region. That front will drop our temperatures to the mid 80s to close out the week with scattered storms still possible. Can't rule out a few storms for the weekend as temperatures rise to the upper 80s and lower 90s. We look to finally be dry by Monday.
