TODAY: Temperatures this morning will be much warmer than the last couple days. Look for mid-40s out the door with cloudy skies. Scattered showers will be in the area during the early morning, before a more widespread rain chance returns by the late afternoon and evening.
TONIGHT: Rain is most likely for those northeast of Columbia and Jefferson City. After 10 p.m. and into the overnight, a few thunderstorms will be possible. We are not expecting any severe weather.
EXTENDED FORECAST: A spring-like pattern is setting up for the weekend. Expect more clouds and a few showers to kick off Saturday. By Saturday afternoon we'll be drying out, but temperatures will be falling with clouds remaining overhead. Another rainy system returns late Sunday evening and continues into early next week. The start of next work week looks to feature more widespread rain and some possible storms both Monday and Tuesday.
