MU's Schweizer wins 5th NCAA title
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Missouri's Karissa Schweizer is now a five-time NCAA Champion.
Schweizer won the 3,000 meter run at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday night, holding off Boise State's Allie Ostrander. Schweizer posted a time of 8:53.36, beating Ostrander by just under one second.
Schweizer also won the 5,000 meter run on Friday night. Her five national titles are the most in Mizzou history.
