The Missouri basketball team has added a second point guard to its 2013 recruiting class.
Two days after giving the school a verbal commitment, Shane Rector signed his letter of intent on Monday and will join Missouri in the fall.
The six-foot, 175-pound point guard began his prep career at St. Raymond's High School in New York. He played for South Kent School in Connecticut last season, averaging 17.4 points and 7.1 assists per game.
Rector joins a recruiting class that is ranked in the top 20 nationally by many experts. The Tigers have also signed point guard Wesley Clark, forwards Johnathan Williams III and Torren Jones and junior college center Keanau Post.
