COLUMBIA -- The Missouri men's golf team is headed to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2005.
The Tigers shot a 12-under 276 in the final round of the Columbia Regional, finishing the three-day event at -27, good for third place. Oklahoma State won the regional crown at -33, followed by Arkansas, MU, LSU and Iowa State. Those five teams will advance to the NCAA Championship.
Missouri's Emilio Cuartero enjoyed a bogey-free day on Saturday. Cuartero fired a seven-under 65, winning the individual title at -11. Teammate Hunter Kraus finished at -10 to tie for second place.
The NCAA Championship begins May 23 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
