CMU's Hale named NAIA Player of the Year

Central Methodist women's basketball standout DaJonee Hale was named the NAIA Player of the Year on Thursday.

Hale led all NAIA players in scoring this season, averaging 28.8 points per game. The senior from Anchorage, Alaska helped CMU to a 28-8 record and a trip to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament.

Morgan Brandt (Second Team) and Jordan Alford (Third Team) of Columbia College also earned All-American honors.

On the men's side, Brian Egejuru of Central Methodist was named a First Team All-American. Egejuru averaged 20.6 points per game, leading the Eagles to a 27-6 mark and a spot in the NAIA Tournament.

Jackson Dubinski of Columbia College was named a Second Team All-American.
