Arkansas QB says he'll sign with Mizzou
Columbia, Mo. —
The Missouri Tiger football team received good news on Monday.
Taylor Powell--a three-star quarterback from Fayetteville, Arkansas--announced on Twitter that he plans to sign with the Tigers on National Signing Day.
Powell originally gave Wake Forest his verbal commitment, earlier in his recruiting process. But, the recent departure of Marvin Zanders and the decommitment of Rey Estes created room on the Missouri quarterback depth chart.
Powell led Fayetteville High School to a second consecutive 7A state championship last fall.
His announcement to sign with the Tigers on NSD brings the Missouri 2017 recruiting class to 22 total known commitments.
