Anderson lands first MU recruit

New Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson landed his first recruit when D'Angelo Allen signed a letter of intent to play at Missouri.

Allen, a 6-foot-7 small forward, led Kimball High School in Dallas to its fourth straight state championship game this spring. Allen averaged 13.3 points and 10.2 rebounds in his senior season.

Former Mizzou target Kevin Punter signed with Tennessee on Monday. Punter had given Missouri a verbal commitment, but changed his mind after Frank Haith's departure.
