Local foodmarket owner shares turkey-cooking tips

Chelsea Davis, the owner of mid-Missouri foodmarket "Root Cellar," stopped by KRCG 13 Live at Sunrise to share some healthy turkey cooking tips Wednesday.

David said a successful turkey-cooking experience starts with choosing the correct bird, brining the turkey, and then making sure not to overcook the turkey. She suggested choosing turkeys that come from Missouri farms instead of national chains.

Root Cellar has two locations; one in downtown Columbia, and one in downtown Jefferson City.
