Update: Preliminary hearing set for murder suspect

A five hour preliminary hearing Friday culminated in Terry Fritz's murder trial being transferred to circuit court.
Kinga Gillibrand's body has still not been found. However, Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said via e-mail his department is still chasing leads. Heitman added, I feel we have good evidence and this is a strong case.

Murder suspect Terry Fritz was in court Tuesday for a status hearing after it was postponed last week.
Fritz is charged with the first degree murder of Kinga Gillibrand, who was missing since early June.
At the hearing, Maries County Judge John Clayton set Fritz's preliminary hearing for Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
Maries County Sheriff TMs Department continues to look for Gillibrand TMs body.

Terry Fritz is scheduled for a status hearing Tuesday, postponed from last week, in which the date for his preliminary hearing will be set.

Fritz is charged with the first degree murder of Kinga Gillibrand.
A Maries County Judge reset the status hearing for Tuesday, July 20 at 1:30 p.m. where the date or the preliminary hearing will be set. The judge heard motions Tuesday made by Fritz public defender Chad Picker
Gillibrand has been missing since early June when Maries County Sheriff TMs Department found evidence at a Meta, Mo. home that connected Fritz to Gillibrand TMs death.
Fritz was arrested last week.
Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said that they continue to search for Gillibrand TMs body and that deputies were in Illinois over the weekend following up leads.
Terry Fritz was arraigned Wednesday at the Maries County Courthouse.
Fritz is charged with first degree murder of Kinga Gillibrand, who was reported missing in early June.
During the arraignment, Fritz applied for a public defender.
Fritz has a status hearing scheduled for July 13 at 1:30 p.m. to set a preliminary hearing.
