Update: 3rd suspect arrested for stealing from dead man's home

Update: Monday, Dec. 13, at 6:40 p.m.:

Boone County deputies arrested a third suspect they believe burglarized a dead man TMs home multiple times.

Terry C. Agee, 58, was arrested at his Columbia home without incident on Saturday.

He TMs in the Boone County Jail with a $20,000 bond. Prosecutors charged him 2nd degree burglary.

Agee is accused of burglarizing Ronald Kinsel TMs home in Boone County in mid-November. Just days after Kinsel died, deputies responded to a burglary report at his home. In all, deputies responded to four burglaries at Kinsel TMs house.

Deputies already arrested 2 other suspects in the case. Jason Kroner, 32, and Shawn Knight, 31, are both charged with 2nd degree burglary.

Boone County deputies say they recovered a lot of the stole property from the suspects TM residences and at a location on Bonne Femme Church Road.

Update: Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 11:50 a.m.:

Boone County prosecutor filed charges against two men accused of stealing from a dead man TMs home.

Jason W. Kroner, 32 was charged with two counts of second degree burglary and one count of stealing property worth between $500 to $25,000.

Shawn R. Knight, 31, was charged with two counts of second degree burglary and one count of stealing property worth between $500 to $25,000. Knight was also charged with a count of drug possession.

Both are being held in the Boone County Jail.

Update: Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m.:

Boone County deputies have arrested two Columbia men who may be responsible for repeated burglaries at a dead man TMs home.

Jason William Kroner, 32 and Shawn Raymond Knight, 31, are Boone County Jail. Prosecutors have not filed charges against them. However, deputies arrested them on suspicion of burglary, stealing, and property damage. Kroner TMs bond is $19,000. Knight TMs bond is $23,500.

The sheriff TMs department credited a CrimeStoppers tip for leading deputies to the suspects. Department officials say late Monday night someone called and reported Kroner and Knight were responsible. While investigating, deputies found enough probable cause to take the two into custody without incident at their home in the Columbia Regency Trailer Court.

The department said deputies found a significant amount of stole property at the suspects TM home and at another residence off Highway 63 in the Bonne Femme Creek Road area.

Since November 11, deputies have responded to Ronald Kinsel TMs home on West Wehmeyer road four times for burglary reports. Kinsel died November 9 in a traffic crash on Sugar Creek Road.

While investigating, Boone County deputies discovered Knight was friends with Kinsel.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrests of those responsible for robbing the home of a man killed in a Nov. 9 car crash on Sugar Creek Road.

Boone County sheriff deputies responded to multiple home burglary calls to Ronald Kinsel TMs home after robbers stole tools, a computer and stereo equipment, money, jewelry and other items.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the car crash.
