Missing Camden County woman's life is in danger

Kathleen Rogers has been missing since around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies from the Camden County Sheriff's Office are continuing their search for a missing 53 year-old woman.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Kathleen Rogers wandered off into the woods behind her home around 8 p.m. Sunday. She did not return to her home.

The Sheriff's Office says Rogers is a diabetic and has not taken her medicine in several days.

Deputies say they believe her family watched her walk down the road into the woods, but they were unable to catch up with her and stop her from entering the woods. Deputies think Rogers may have been delirious when she wandered off. They think her life may be in danger due to her medical condition.

Camden County K-9 units and members of the Osage Beach Search and Rescue team searched the area for nearly seven hours but were not able to find her.

Deputies say rough terrain and poor visibility hobbled their search efforts.

Rogers is described as 5'6'', 165 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown flower-printed blouse, capri pants with a white strip and sandals.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Kathleen Rogers to call the Camden County Sheriff's Office.
