Tue, 03 Jul 2012 16:30:00 GMT — Update: Wednesday, July 4th at 10:20 a.m.: The Village of Centertown has banned the use of fireworks due to drought conditions.Village officials said the ban comes from Village Ordinance 150 that they put into effect because of the dry, drought-like conditions. The ordinance bans the use of fireworks within village limits and within a 1600 hundred feet radius outside of the village, effective immediately.
