Columbia City Council Members approved a plan to overhaul their bus system.
The CoMO Connect Transit System expands ridership to more areas of Columbia with new maps at connecting points.
City leaders proposed the plan last spring after people complained about poor connections.
Riders will no longer have to use Wabash Station as a central hub.
CoMO Connect will have 42 connector points where you can change buses throughout the city.
Bus rider Victor Archibong said, â??I think itâ??s going to be really good. If I can get on the bus where I live which is easier than walking up to the bus station, I think itâ??s worth it.â??
CoMO Connect will start coming together in July with full operations expected to be running in August.
