Three members of Missouri task force 1 deployed to Arkansas
Tue, 29 Apr 2014 12:52:37 GMT — Missouri Task Force 1 has sent three members to Arkansas to assist in the recovery efforts following the devastation from tornadoes that struck the state on Sunday.The three members will participate as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Incident Support Team. The members are on scene to assist local emergency response teams in their efforts. The Incident Support Team and Texas Task Force 1 are in position at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Little Rock, Arkansas. The three members of MO-TF1 will fill the roles of IST leader/Operations Section Chief, Structural Specialist, and Urban Search and Rescue Liason in cooperation with the Arkansas State Emergency Operations Center. The members could be deployed for up to 14 days, however, due to the experience and capabilities of the local response teams in Arkansas, their term of deployment could be shorter.
