The University of Missouri International Center, along with the Division of Applied Social Sciences and Department of Geography, will host a roundtable discussion Tuesday on the crisis in Ukraine.
The program, entitled "Ukraine: Past, Present and Possible Futures," will be moderated by William Meyers. Meyers is the Director of International Agriculture Programs and Howard Cowden Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics
at MU. He has worked on Ukrainian agriculture policy issues for around two decades.
Panelists in the discussion include:
Roman Kolgushev: a graduate student in the MU School of Journalism. Kolgushev has worked at several Ukrainian media outlets.
Vitaliy Yurkiv: graduate student and Fulbright scholar in educational leadership and policy analysis at MU. Yurkiv is from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Kateryna Goychuk: a post-doctoral fellow at the MU Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute. Goychuk is from Kiev, Ukraine.
The discussion is from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. in the Stotler Lounge I in Memorial Student Union.
