Winter is just about two weeks away, but Mid-Missouri is seeing it's first "measurable" snow of the season.A disturbance in the upper levels over the plains is combining with limited moisture to produce Tuesday's light snow. Most of the area will just see a dusting to maybe half an inch of snowfall. A few locations between interstate 70 and Jefferson City could receive between .5"-1". Roads will likely be a bit slick as the snow should taper off by this afternoon, with possibly a few flurries left over.Cold and dry weather will take over for the rest of the week.
