Mon, 14 Apr 2014 12:41:52 GMT — After a great weekend in the 70s and 80s, winter is making a comeback in Mid-Missouri. In the wake of thunderstorms, snow was falling over Kansas and western Missouri Monday morning. Temperatures were in the 30s and 40s. A light rain and snow mix will be possible off and on through the day. Aside from a little bit of snow on the grass, accumulations are not expected as the ground is too warm. Temperatures will hold steady or slowly fall during the day. We'll all be in the 30s by the mid afternoon. The precipitation comes to an end by Monday evening and skies will clear. That will lead to a frigid night as lows fall into the mid 20s! A Freeze Warning is in effect for all of the viewing area until 9 AM Tuesday.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates. www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
